Recon Scanning

Recon scanning is automated external reconnaissance. It maps every asset your organisation exposes to the public internet, including the ones nobody remembers owning. You enter a domain, and HackRisk works outward from it across six layers of exposure: subdomains, open ports, exposed services, DNS and hosting records, SSL certificates, and shadow IT stood up outside any formal process. Nothing needs installing, because the scan runs from outside exactly as an attacker's would. What comes back is a prioritised remediation list rather than a raw inventory, so you can start with whatever is most exposed. The assets that matter are usually the forgotten ones: a staging environment, a legacy API, a subdomain nobody decommissioned. All of them still reachable, and none of them being patched. The target is complete external asset visibility: everything reachable from outside, listed in one place.
