Why the return leg matters
Pushing alerts out is the easy half, and plenty of tools stop there. The result is a security product that keeps telling you about problems it has no idea you already solved, and a score that drifts away from reality.
Reading the closure back is what keeps your HackRisk Score honest. We re-check the finding rather than taking the ticket’s word for it, so a closed ticket only improves your score when the exposure has actually gone.
